Keep frozen at or below 18°C. Never thaw product by leaving it on the kitchen counter before cooking. Instead, thaw it by using the following procedures:
Three ways to defrost:
1) With Cold Water: Place packed frozen product in a container filled with cold water or place under cold running water until thawed.
2) In Refrigerator: Place packed product inside the refrigerator in a covered container until thawed.'
3) In Microwave: Follow the defrosting instructions in the microwave oven manual. The thawed product should be cooked immediately. Avoid re-freezing uncooked products.
